Hangovers and Homesickness
Hello you lovely lot!
So, here I am on my third day at University! Yesterday was very emotional and even my dad cried, but I thought I would just update you all on how it is so far.
Last night was great, I didn't really want to go out to town but two girls did which left me, Nicole, Kayleigh and Natalie in the flat, I think we all got very drunk and, judging by the fact I was up at 9am being sick which only stopped at around 6pm, I drank way too much vodka.
We laughed and drank and played Cards Against Humanity which from what I can remember was hilarious, not so funny this morning though I must admit. I felt a bit homesick this morning which I think is just because I was sick but I've spoken to mum and dad today and I'm perfectly fine (if a little bit ill)! The girls I live with are so lovely and it's calmed my nerves a lot. I'm not going out tonight surprise surprise so I'm just going to stay in,eat some food and watch some TV!
My first experience of Uni is amazing and I haven't even started lectures yet. They start next week which is exciting. A few friends of mine have said they don't like it and want to come home but I definitely am going to wait till Christmas to make my mind up! However, so far, I love it, it's nice being able to do what you want when you want and being able to eat what you want and drink what you want!
I'm seeing my cousin on Friday night and staying with her and I can't wait to have a takeaway! My cooking isn't the best I must admit.
All in all, minus the hangovers and homesickness I am very happy so far! I' going to do a post about my room when I get the chance and I'm going to do my part 2 to 'Cya Notts' when I go in to the city centre so you've got those to look forward to!
