2015
Not quite sure how all of this works but I've been wanting to start a blog for months and now I have a laptop it's much easier!
Thinking about how fast 2014 went scares me. I remember celebrating my 17th birthday in January and thinking I was getting old and I remember trying to choose which Universities I wanted to go to. Not to mention Christmas which flew by ridiculously fast, I'm not even sure it happened! However, whether I want to believe it or not, it's 2015.
2015 will be a big year for me for loads of different reasons, but possibly the most terrifying one is the fact I will *hopefully* be going to University. The thought of leaving home for a few years is possibly the single most terrifying thought in the world. I am not an independent human being, I rely on other people a lot and I probably take my home comforts for granted much more than I should. I'm also unbelievably lazy, if I can find any way to get out of doing exercise then I'll do it. Despite all these things I'm still looking forward to meeting new people and if everything goes well then I'll be going back to where I grew up, Liverpool.
Not only do I go to University this year but I also turn 18. Growing up used to scare me because I just had this image that when I turned 18, I would just turn into an adult and would suddenly be really boring and dull. That was until I met my best friend Natalie a few years ago. Nat's 19 now and I never even think about the fact that there's nearly two years between us because she's exactly the same as me.
2014 wasn't the best year for me, I spent quite a lot of it very unhappy but there were definitely good moments!
And so, even though 2014 wasn't a bundle of laughs from start to finish I am so glad it happened because it taught me to outgrow toxic friends, smile more and be thankful I have the friends that I've wound up with. On that happier note I'll leave you with some of my favourite moments from 2014!
Thank you for reading!
