TOP TEN: Taylor Swift
Taylor, Tay Tay, T-Swizzle, whatever you want to call her. Love her or hate her (I have done a bit of both in my time) you can't deny she's written a lot of good songs. Her songs have basically been the soundtrack to my teenage years and that's crazy! So this is for you Taylor Swift, thanks for writing cool music that makes me cry a lot!
10. Safe And Sound - The Hunger Games Soundtrack
I don't care if you think this doesn't count, it flipping does. The first time I saw the movie and heard this, I bawled my eyes out. Still makes me cry a little bit now! I just think it's so beautiful and agh! Love it!
9. Change - Fearless
I was 11 when this came out, weird. It's always been a favourite of mine, makes me feel very positive. I also like to sing the bridge very loud, don't judge me.
8. Come Back...Be Here - Red
I don't really relate to this song like I usually do with most of her music but it still makes me cry. I used to hate it because I thought it was about Harry Styles, ah 16 year old me.
7. White Horse - Fearless
If you don't like this, what are you doing? Still makes me cry to this day. I never had to deal with boys so I couldn't relate again, but the video is all sorts of sad.
6. You're Not Sorry (Acoustic) - Fearless
This one and 'White Horse' changed places many times when I was trying to do this and I'm still not sure which one I like more. It's won because I love the acoustic version more than 'White Horse'. If I going off the normal version 'White Horse' would have won!
5. The Moment I Knew - Red
This song reminds me of a friend I had last year who was a bit crappy if I'm honest. It always gets me in tears, very sad, also very good song!
4. Forever and Always - Fearless
This one is so catchy! I can sing this one as loud as I want and feel great even though the lyrics are pretty sad, it's a different story for the acoustic version though, tears. All the tears.
3. The Last Time (feat. Gary Lightbody) - Red
YES. I love Snow Patrol, I love Taylor Swift. I like to sing Gary's bit because it's better than Taylor's bit (sorry Taylor).
2. Long Live - Speak Now
This has always been an amazing song! The bit about the children gets me. Every. Time. One I can dance around my room to which is what everyone needs to be honest.
1. Dear John - Speak Now
If you want to see me sob (which I hope you don't) then play this in front of me. From like year 4 to year 12 I had a really manipulative friend in my life and this song just describes those 8 years perfectly and I always wanted my life to turn in to the bit that was 'I took your matches before fire could get me' and it finally has! It's weird to listen to this song back and think about how unhappy I was for 8 years but I think it will always be my favourite Taylor song!
Thanks For Reading!
