One Direction Round Two
So, as you may or may not know, I went to see One Direction twice last month, once on the 3rd and then again on the 31st. It's taken me a while to write this if I'm honest because it was the best and most emotional night of my life.
This time I went with my friend Gaby who goes to university in Sheffield. I got back to Nottingham at around 3 and went to Gaby's as fast as I could.
We had some dinner, got ready, and then I drove us to the arena. We nearly cried before we got in there. If you didn't know, the 31st was the last On The Road Again date and the last show for One Direction before the big hiatus/break thing that's happening. We both knew this and were very emotional about it. People laughed at me when I told them I cried from the second One Direction came out but if you know me you know I love 1D. They've been a huge part of my life for 5 years which is a long time and so it was sad!
When we got there I got the biggest shock of my life. If you remember, I sold my Manchester One Direction ticket online and it turned out that the person who bought it was a Swiss boy. Me and Gaby made our way down to our seats and when we got there, there were a few people in the way. So we said 'excuse me' and they looked up and low and behold...
It was him! We were both so shocked and I think I might have looked like a fish with my mouth hanging open. All his friends were shocked to find out that this is the girl that he had met in Manchester, almost as shocked as me and him were. We hugged and talked for a bit (mainly about how we couldn't believe it) and then me and Gaby took our seats.
The show itself was amazing. It was better than anything I could have ever imagined. I sobbed from the second they came on till the end, from them playing the end of Act My Age 5 times to the crowd holding up 'HOME' signs in Don't Forget Where You Belong, I was a mess.
I loved every single part of it and it was so nice to share it with Gaby. Me and Gaby have been friends for a few years and we have both loved the boys from the beginning. We held on to eachother for most of it but despite the weird looks from the five year olds and the mums we cried our way through it.
I am very proud of these boys and everything they have achieved. They have not only brought me a lot of happiness but my best friend too.
Seeing them on the last tour date was the best decision I've ever made (even though I didn't know it was the last date when I bought the tickets). There was emotional speeches, hilarious one liners and a lot of 'thank you's!
My snapchat story was a good 9 or 10 minutes this day because I basically snapchatted every song. I'm so glad I did that because now I have such a lovely video to watch when I feel down or sad!
All in all it was one of the best nights of my life. If they do come back after their break I will be there to see them again. Seeing One Direction live is possibly one of my favourite things to do.
