Concerts

Hello You Lovely Lot!

So, I just wanted to talk to you about concerts (hence the name of the blog post...). Today, my dad bought me and him tickets to go and see Frank Turner, who you all know is one of my faves, in Liverpool.

I am going to 6 concerts this year so far...

5 Seconds of Summer - 12th April - Nottingham
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - 25th April - Liverpool
Busted - 24th May - Sheffield
Coldplay - 4th June - Manchester
Blackberry Smoke - 23rd June - Nottingham
Frank Turner - 8th July - Liverpool

and have already been to one...

The Vamps - 5th April - Nottingham

Now, two of these are really because my Dad didn't want to go on his own so I agreed to go with him (Noel Gallagher (although I am now very excited to see him) and Blackberry Smoke). However, I have no doubt that I will still enjoy them.

People tell me I go to too many concerts but something about concerts makes me so happy. I am that girl that usually cried at concerts, not because I'm sad, but because they just make me so ridiculously happy. Maybe it's just being in an arena (in most cases) full of people that also share your love for the people and the songs. I have got a lot better at keeping my emotions in check though and nowadays I just tend to cry at the first song, my favourite song and the last song. Some people will totally get this but some people might think I'm absolutely crazy. When I see Coldplay live I think I'll cry SO much because it's the first time I will have ever seen them live and I've loved them for so long.

Concerts like McBusted ones are particularly special because before my first McBusted concert I hadn't seen Busted in around 10 years. Busted were my childhood and so to go to a Busted concerts that I actually remember is amazing and I am even more excited to see them in May! I think Coldplay will have the same effect on me as would a few other bands.

When it comes to bands like One Direction and McFly I think I just cry because they are bands that really make me happy and have got me through tough times I guess? When I was front row at McFly I managed to not cry until 'The Heart Never Lies' (which if you read my blog regularly, you'll know it's my favourite song EVER) and then I cried my eyes out and Harry had to keep checking on me, lets hope he doesn't remember that? That concert will always hold a special place in my heart and probably will always be my favourite.

Is anyone else like me and goes to too many concerts (although I'm not sure that's even a thing)? Does anyone else cry at concerts or is that just me...please someone tell me it's not just me.

Thanks For Reading!

Becky x
