TOP TEN: Disney Films (Non-Animated/Pixar)
Right, in this one I'm counting any film that Disney has had some input in that has some non animated element OR any Disney Pixar film Here we go.
10. Toy Story
This counts as 1, 2 and 3 because I couldn't pick just one. Three makes me cry my eyes out when they're all about to fall in to that furnace, someone hold me.
9. The Princess Diaries
I'll admit, I haven't seen all three, but I know I LOVE the first one. It's a real feel good film that I can just stick on and laugh my head off! I also bloody love Julie Andrews...
8. Enchanted
I remember my Dad taking me to see this and it blew my mind when she went from the cartoon princess to Amy Adams. I was easily amused...
7. Parent Trap
What a great film. It took me a good while to work out whether the girls were twins when I first saw it and didn't know who Lindsay Lohan was. Also, I will work out that handshake one day and it will be a great day for everyone involved...
6. Up
I haven't seen this in a long time but I do know that it will always hold a special place in my heart. The bit with the old woman and the old man breaks my heart every time. I also like to think that the dog is what my dog would be like if he could speak...but he can't...so...yeah
5. The Incredibles
FREEZE!
This has always been a favourite of mine and I will never not love it. Edna Mode (or Edna Mole as I used to think her name was...true story) is the best woman in existence and I used to fancy Dash....this came out when I was 7 right, so I was his age...and he's animated but we won't talk about that for now.
4. Monsters, Inc.
PUT THAT THING BACK WHERE IT CAME FROM OR SO HELP ME (the best bit in the whole film).
This is one of the funniest Pixar films out there, I can't deny it. I was a bit disappointed by Monsters University but I wasn't really the target audience so I don't blame Disney...good, all round, family favourite.
3. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
Spare Oom?!
I bloody love this, don't care what anyone else says. And, I also like Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Deal with it. I used to be really annoyed because I wanted to fancy Edmund but he was a complete idiot (although I enjoyed his banter like 'yeah...I found the land in the wardrobe...and the football pitch in the bathroom cupboard' and 'Is it Latin?' 'Yes' 'Latin for THE WORST GAME EVER INVENTED) and I wanted to fancy Peter but he too was an idiot. I fancied Mr Tumnus in the end because James McAvoy is a babe and a half. The best bit is when Lucy first see's the wardrobe and the music stops...CHILLS ALL OVER. I get way too in to Narnia, it's all so interesting when you start reading them all and looking in to it and someone stop me.
2. The Muppet Christmas Carol
1. Mary Poppins
This is my favourite Disney film ever, I love it even more than Tangled and that's saying something! The music is great, the actors are great, the story is great, the knockoff film 'Saving Mr Banks' is great. IT'S GREAT. The award for the worst accent ever also goes to Dick Van Dyke for his Cockney accent in this film. You tried Dick, you tried
And THAT is my favourite Disney Films that aren't animated!
My monthly favourites will be soon if that brings you any joy...and also a 50 facts about me is ready to post!
Thanks for reading!
