TOP TEN: Disney Films (Animated)

by - 14:26

I am a HUGE lover of Disney. I watched all the films when I was growing up (and still watch them now...) so I thought I'd do a quick rundown if my 10 favourites. I'm not going to count Disney Pixar films or ones that aren't animated because it would be too hard so I'll do a different Top 10 for that.

10. Lilo And Stitch

I only saw this one a few months ago thanks to my friends Lizzie and Gemma. I love it so much, it even made me cry (I'm 18...no shame). They showed me it because they bought me a giant Stitch toy for Christmas because they thought I'd said I loved it but were panicked when I said I hadn't seen it. Lucky for them it's one of my favourites now.

9. Pinnochio

I used to LOVE this when I was little. I watched it all the time and it was one of my favourites. I haven't seen in recently but it's still a great film...although the bit when he turns in to a donkey used to scare me...

8. Peter Pan

This is such a good film. I used to watch this version loads until i got the non animated one where I fancied the pants off the guy who played Peter. Mr Schmee is also the best character ever. What a babe.

7. Lion King 3

This is the best Lion King film of all. It's told from the point of view of Timone and Pumba who, let's face it, are the best characters in Lion King. They're in like a cinema and it's just stupid comedy and I love it. Me and my brother watched it Christmas Eve and laughed until we cried.

6. The Little Mermaid

This is a classic I think, it has to be in everyones favourites surely. Full of great songs and fit princes (that's you Prince Eric) it is such a good film!

5. Alice In Wonderland

The Mad Hatter is the best side character EVER to be honest. I remember wishing I could go in to a dream world like that although I didn't fancy the big falling bit. The end bit also terrified me, I mean, who wants to be chased by an angry pack of cards?! Not me thats for sure! Also, can we talk about how stupid the cards are?! Who honestly thought that The Queen would be fooled by paint...idiots.

4. Hercules

NO CHANCE, NO WAY, I WONT SAY IM IN LOOOOOOVE (shaboop shawoop sha la la la and all that jazzy stuff)

This is another one I've only seen because of my friends Gemma and Lizzie. I watched it with them and then for like 5 weeks I watched it over and over again. Meg is me except I don't get the love interest to begin with...anyway. Phil is also a babe.

3. Aladdin

This is my Dad's favourite film and he made it one of mine. Robin Williams as the Genie is absolute genius and also Iago the parrot. The cave of wonders used to scare me a tad and I'm pretty sure there was speculation that the film was a tad racist...but it's still a good one.

2. Beauty And The Beast

It took me SO long to choose between this and Number One. This was always my favourite when I was little. For my 18th birthday my brother bought me an ornament that looks like a giant book and it has Beauty and the Beast on it and it says 'Once Upon a Time' AND ITS SO PRETTY I LOVE IT. Gaston scares the shit out of me because he's a human and so he's the most plausible villain. There's also clear favouritism between Mrs. Potts and Chip even though she has other kids...just saying. Also, on the DVD I used to own there used to be a game which was so hard but also the best game ever. I'm on a rant now but on my Nintendo DS I used to have a Disney Princess game and the Belle level was always the hardest I hated it...anyway, yeah. Number 2.

PS. The prince is disappointing when he turns in to a human...

1. Tangled

WHAT A GREAT FILM. I am a Disney Princess girl through and through on this one. I was never one for all the airy fairy tales but this just brings out that girl in me. The music is stunning, Flynn is stunning, THE WHOLE FILM IS FLIPPIN' GREAT. If this didn't exist, Beauty and the Beast would 100% be number 1 but it does so it isn't. The mum is a bitch in this and I hate her...who would even eat hazelnut soup?! Not me.

Thanks For Reading!

Expect a non animated top 10 very soon!
