REVIEW : 'Girl Online' by Zoella/Zoe Sugg

Hello you lovely lot!

So, if you read my 'Holiday Books' post then you will know that I set myself the challenge of reading five books in to weeks. Update on that, I read one a bit...fail. However, as promised, I'm going to do reviews on them! I know I love reading reviews on books because it gives me an idea of whether it's something I should spend my hard earned money on! I will eventually get round to reading the books, even if I have to take them to Uni with me!

So, without further ado, I present to you..

Girl Online - Zoella/Zoe Sugg

Now, I won't lie, I only bought this because I love Zoe. However, now I'm so glad I did (even if I have only just read it, soz Zo).

I also have to admit that when I first started reading it a long long time ago (ok not that long but like a few months is a lot to an 18 year old...) I wasn't the biggest fan. Being 18, I'm not the ideal demographic, let's be honest, and that was kind of obvious.

Maybe it was the way it was written? I don't really know how to explain it! If I was thirteen I think it would have been more accessible to me maybe? It took me quite a while to get in to because it wasn't really written like the kind of books I read now.

However, once I DID get in to it, I was so invested in the story and in the characters and even though I knew what was going to happen at the end (ruined it for myself, well done Becky) I still loved going through all the twists and turns that lead to that ending!

This was most definitely a good choice for a holiday book I think! It was easy to read, had bits of comedy in it, places i recognised the names of and was just lovely! It also made me want to write so many blog posts since Penny is a blogger herself!

So, overall, I would recommend this book! If you have it and have tried to read it but haven't got thee, keep going! Once Penny meets Noah you get so gripped and it's so worth it! Looking back I think I should have waited for the paperback to come out as it would be a lot lighter but it did make some pretty instagrams when I first got it!

I'm still reading Eleanor and Park and with packing for Uni it's getting hard to find time but I will get there! If I haven't finished it by the time I move it is so coming with me (along with a few other books which I haven't decided on yet but I'm going to write a 'What I'm Taking To Uni' post soon so you'll see then!)

P.S. - This is my 50th blog post! It's crazy! I remember starting this in January thinking I would get so bored of it and I would give up but blogging is my favourite thing to do. I love just sitting down and writing about stuff! My blog blew up when Sprinkle of Glitter tweeted about it and I was so shocked! I like to think I write alright posts? Even if nobody's reading they're still enjoyable to write!

Thanks For Reading!!

Becky x
