Cya Notts (MOVING TO UNI : PART 1)
Hello you lovely lot!
So, this is it! I'm going to University this week (and officially turning in to an adult, but can we skip over that bit? Cheers).
I have lived in Nottingham since I was around 8 years old, so 10 years and a bit now! However, before I moved to Nottingham I lived in Liverpool (not technically, I lived in Wallasey but nobody knows where that is (Harry Styles does though) so I just say Liverpool, it's very close). Now I'm moving back down to Liverpool to go to University! It's going to be a bit weird living there again but I'm also very excited, I love Liverpool so much, I still consider it home.
Nottingham has been very kind to me though, i've learnt al ot the past 10 years and there is no doubt in my mind that I would be a different girl had I grown up in Liverpool!
I have met so many brilliant friends here (as well as some not so brilliant ones, but let's not think about them).
And of course Natalie who is the bestest friend I could ever ask for
But I've got hundreds of photos to stick around so I can remember this lot whilst we're all away
I have also had some of the best experiences in Nottingham (this means *mainly McFly/McBusted* concerts)
- That time when Tom Fletcher laughed at me
- That time when Matt Willis sang in my face
- That time when Harry Judd gave me his towel
- That time I bumped in to George Shelley
- That time me and Natalie drove to IKEA on impulse and had meatballs and I bought a giant jar...
My mum and Dad have always wanted to live in Wales so now I'm at University there's nothing to stop them! I might never call Nottingham home ever, which is a weird thought, but I will of course go back to see friends! My Dad has also applied for a job in Bristol so if he gets that they'll obviously have to move there, so not knowing where I'll come 'home' to for sure is a bit scary.
I'm obviously SO excited to be going to Liverpool. All of my family live around there so I'll be able to see my Grandma more than twice a year and I'll be able to see my little cousins Ella and Liv and watch them grow up rather than seeing them and being shocked by how they've grown! My first best friend Grace is also in Liverpool, we were apparently attached at the hip when we were little however I am glad I moved away. If I had stayed we could have argued as we'd got to the teenage years whereas we didn't have that. It's always lovely to see Grace and so being able to go out for a coffee will be the best thing ever I imagine.
I don't deal well with change and I know it will be hard to see all my close friends grow in to new people and find other friends but I know that when we all come home it'll be like nothing has changed. My birthday is also in January and I don't think I'm going to come home for it because it's on a Sunday and I don't want to spend my birthday on a train. It's going to be weird not being with my parents and my friends but I know I'll have my lovely flat mates and I can go and see my family!
Over the past few months I've had bits of nerves where I've thought 'am I really ready?' but now I know I am. I'm moving out and looking forward to all the new people, new experiences and a new life.
I sometimes find it hard to be positive so I got a load of happy posters that I'll be able to dot around my room so I know that in reality I'm fine!

So here's to University! If you're also going, good luck although you will most likely already be there because I do go quite late in the month!
Prepare for part 2 (which hopefully wont take too long once I've taken a few snaps of my room and of Liverpool and what not, I'm SO excited)
