Hello You Lovely Lot!


So, it's been a while since I've done a blog post about music and since I couldn't think of another 'TOP TEN' to share with you all I thought I'd write this!

I have three playlists on my Spotify, 'Shower' 'Sad' and 'Faves'. Two of then ('Shower' and 'Faves') are for when I'm dancing round my room and 'Sad' is because I listen to sad music when i feel down...ANYWAY.

I thought i'd share my 'Faves' one with you!

I'm also going to make a few blog posts about this because otherwise you'd all be here forever, things to do, people to see and all that jazz.


1. Black Magic - Little Mix

I LOVE this song. After hating it for quite a while I eventually gave in and decided it was pretty darn catchy. Definitely a car song too!

2. Foundations - Kate Nash

This is just a classic to be honest! I love doing the little talking bits in this and I feel dead sassy, love love LOVE!

3. Sweet Sweet Melody - Katie Sky

I saw this on Zoellas 'One Million' video and I loved it there and then, been a favourite ever since!

4. This Charming Man - The Smiths

I love a bit of The Smiths, this is probably my favourite song by them as cliché as that sounds. Just so catchy and head bobby (that's not a word but we're going with it).

5. Alright - Supergrass

This song makes me feel so happy! Reminds me so much of summer too so I love playing it in my car with the roof down, not that I do that very much anymore, but you know.

6. Go Do - Jónsi

This is another song that I found from a YouTuber! It was from 'Tyler Oakley Takes Over England' and it just made me feel so happy so now I give it a listen when I'm feeling very positive and I just love it very much!

7. Oh My God - The Kaiser Chiefs

Yes. Just Yes. Love a bit of The Kaiser Chiefs and this one is probably my favourite! Think it's the only Kaiser Chiefs song on the list too.

8. Heartbeat - Scouting For Girls

Scouting For Girls just make me think of summer and also make me think of 'Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging! Perfect for a little dance round!

9. Elvis Aint Dead - Scouting For Girls

Another one I can dance around my room too! Also my favourite of the two Scouting For Girls songs that are on here.

10. Naive - The Kooks

I love having a good singalong to this one and I also found it when it was in 'Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging'...it's a good film ok?!

11. Dawsons Geek - Busted

This isn't my favourite Busted song and I'm not sure why my favourite (3AM) isn't on the list? This one makes me want to jump around and rock out (won't ever use that phrase again.)

12. Don't Let It Break Your Heart - Coldplay

Very positive song with a lovely message, I also just love Coldplay and I think there's a few more Coldplay songs on this list...

13. Lost - Coldplay

Told you so...This is my favourite Coldplay song and it's not necessarily the happiest but I just think it's so good! I like having this on my playlist because on my iPad I also have the Jay Z version but you don't know it's got Jay Z in it till about 3/4 of the way through because it's the same up until then. I don't like that version.

14. Life In Technicolour ii - Coldplay

The video for this so good and I think I put it in my 'TOP TEN : Music Videos' playlist? I do love the song as well, I think seeing this live would be stunning and I am keeping my eyes peeled for the next Coldplay tour. I WILL see them live one day.

15. Ironic - Alanis Morissette 

Love this one in the car but I have to really go for it. I sound like a cat being strangled but it feels so great! My dad first introduced me to Alanis and I am in awe of her still.

16. You Oughta Know - Alanis Morissette 

Another one you really have to go for or I don't really see the point in it. Maybe it's the same with all Alanis Morissette songs? I'm unsure, I'll get back to you on that.

17. Rock DJ - Robbie Williams

I don't even care, I flipping LOVE Robbie Williams. I rarely listen to this but it's still on the playlist because it's a classic/

18. No Good For You - Meghan Trainor

This song reminds me of me and my best friend Natalie. I like to think it's basically our song for reasons I can't mention...always makes me think of her and always makes me smile.

19. Bang Dem Sticks - Meghan Trainor

Another favourite from good old Meghan! I finally know all the words to this and I feel very proud I won't lie.

20. Credit - Meghan Trainor

This also reminds me of Natalie. Mainly because I have lovely *cough* video of us singing it on my laptop. Get us on X Factor that's all I'm saying...

21. Bloodstream - Ed Sheeran & Rudimental

I prefer this to the original because it's just a lot faster and otherwise I think it's a bit sad? I have got a few sad songs on this playlist but obviously don't want too many!

22. The Boy Is Mine - Monica & Brandy 

I first saw this on Glee, no shame, and I've loved it ever since. It's SO catchy and I also feel very empowered when I sing it.

23. American Idiot - Green Day

My music taste varies so much from the soft music of Coldplay to this. This one is maybe not so good for the car because I can proper go for this one, safety first and all that!

24. Greek Tragedy - The Wombats 

My friend Melissa introduced me to The Wombats and I'm so glad she did because now I'm a little bit obsessed? This is my favourite song of there's which also has a wicked video!

25. Lighthouse - G.R.L.

This is the song that G.R.L. wrote for Simone and the video always makes me cry. It also makes me appreciate the friends I have because you never know what could happen! It is a bit of a sad song but it had to make my favourites!
