'Iya Liverpool (MOVING TO UNI : PART 2)
Hello you lovely lot!
So after being here for a week now I felt like I should make a part 2 for 'Cya Notts'! I was meant to be going in to the city centre to take some photos for this but I haven't had time yet so I might just post a huge blog post with loads of photos at some point.
So, University! I've had a few lectures now and I'm really enjoying it. The stuff in studying is interesting and I've met some lovely people who are doing my courses so far!
The buses are the worst thing about the Uni and it's even worse that I'm going between the two campuses every week. However, once you actually manage to catch the bus it's free so it all works out OK in the end.
I love Liverpool itself, it's always felt like a home to me and to know that I'm never too far from someone in my family is very comforting. I'm staying with my cousin as we speak. I must admit it's nice to be somewhere other than just in my flat or in a lecture.
Missing home is quite a big thing for me, I miss my parents and my dogs so much but I think that's because I often find myself sitting in my room on my own and I have not much else to think about. I do talk to my mum and dad every day and usually my best friend Natalie too! The photos on my wall also help me to not feel too homesick!
I'm not the biggest fans of nights out I must admit and I have only been on one, not quite cut out for freshers. I am going out again on Sunday I think.
Sorry this was such a short blog post! I've been so busy it's crazy, never did I think I would be so tired all the time, this is draining stuff.
Thanks for reading!
