November Playlist

by - 11:31

So, like I did last month, I have made a playlist of all my favourite songs from the past 4 weeks! There's not really much of a mix here since some pretty big albums came out this month and I have loved most of the songs from them, however, still going to go through my playlist!

Grown - Get Weird - Little Mix

I LOVE this song. It's probably one of my favourites from this album. I did a whole review of this album so you can go there and see what I have to say about this song but all I can say is it's very catchy and one that i love listening to whilst I get ready.

FAVOURITE LINE : 'I can hold my own, boy you missed the boat'

Safety Pin - Sounds Good Feels Good - 5 Seconds Of Summer

I wasn't sure about this album when I first heard it and there was only a few I could really get in to and this was one of them (I now love the album and have asked for it for Christmas by the way). I just think this is such a good song and is a perfect mix between a slow ballad type song and a super fast rocky song.

FAVOURITE LINE : 'Oh but this time, maybe this time, maybe two wrongs make a right'

Olivia - Made In The A.M. - One Direction

There was always going to be some One Direction on here let's be honest. Especially because their new album came out this month. This is my favourite on the album closely followed by 'Never Enough'. I sometimes feel ashamed to admit this is my favourite because it's just a bit odd I guess? Although I can get through the 'I love you, I love you, I love, I love, I love Olivia' without messing up so I think that's a proud moment for me.

FAVOURITE LINE : 'I love you, I love you, I love, I love, I love Olivia'

Cheater - Wake Up - The Vamps

I went through a stage of playing this constantly and it was just on repeat for a good week! I think I'm going to do a review of this album because I have yet to listen to all of it but I love what I've heard so far! I think this is not really what i expected from The Vamps but I'm glad that this exists. I think it's such a cheeky song and the video has made me fall in love with Connor whereas previously I loved Brad (sorry Brad, still love you...)

FAVOURITE LINE : 'I just think you should know what he is capable of'

Crashed The Wedding - A Present For Everyone - Busted

I put this on my playlist before I got the tickets for Busted because it came on shuffle one day and I realised how much I loved it. This used to my favourite Busted song and it was in my head for weeks after I put it on here. I still know all the words and I am ready for May to come around so I can sing this at the top of my lungs (I do that anyway but you know...)

FAVOURITE LINE : 'He's always hated me because I never got a J O B'

The End - Get Weird - Little Mix

I still can't listen to this without thinking of Perrie crying and it gets me every time. I think this song is so powerful even though it's just the four girls. I think that probably makes it more powerful in a way and it shows off all their voices in different ways. This is a really amazing addition to the album and it was definitely the right choice to include it as one of the songs.

FAVOURITE LINE : 'You can say what you want, but love isn't here anymore'

Stolen Moments - Wake Up - The Vamps

I remember hearing the teaser for this on instagram because you could get it early if you preordered the album. As soon as I heard that I knew I would love it, it's a ballad type song which is my favourite and it's just so beautiful. If I heard this live I genuinely think I'd break down but nobody will come with me to see The Vamps so you know, no big deal.

FAVOURITE LINE : 'You say you don't wanna fall in, but you keep fallin'

Temporary Fix - Made In The A.M. - One Direction

Another amazing song from this album. I love Harrys bit of this even though it doesn't sound like Harry to me? I just think this is so gritty and not the typical One Direction sound that i think the boys might have been trying to get away from? I do dance to this one when I'm in the shower or when I'm cleaning.

FAVOURITE LINE : 'We can moan in the darkness, let me touch you where you're hottest'

Half The World Away - The Masterplan - Oasis

This came on when I was in the car with my family a few weeks before the John Lewis advert so I added it straight away because I realised how much I loved it, I also have the John Lewis version on this playlist because I like them both. I like this one because it's a bit more upbeat I think? I tend to listen to the other one when I'm sad.

FAVOURITE LINE : 'I can feel the warning signs running around my mind'

In The Heat Of The Moment - Chasing Yesterday - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

Bloody hell that was a mouthful! I'm seeing Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds live in April I think? My dad got me in to them and asked me if I wanted to see them in the Echo Arena which is here in Liverpool. I love Oasis and so I thought I would give them a try and surprisingly I'm quite a big fan! This is one of my favourites, hence why it's earned a spot on this playlist.

FAVOURITE LINE : 'The more that you want it, the more that you need it'

I Wont - Get Weird - Little Mix

This is another amazing song off the girls new album. i think this is just such a feel good song and it makes me feel so cheerful whenever I hear it. I think it's definitely another one I can listen to whilst i get ready in the mornings because it just makes me feel so happy and ready for the day!

FAVOURITE LINE : 'I know that nothing good comes easy'

Adventure Of A Lifetime - Head Full Of Dreams - Coldplay

YES. SOME NEW COLDPLAY SONGS. If you have been reading my blog for a while you will probably know I love Coldplay more than life itself. Their album 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' is my favourite album of all time and 'Parachutes' is my second. I thought I had written a 'TOP TEN' on them but I cant find it now so that's on my to do list! They haven't bought any new music for a good while and I have been having withdrawal symptoms. I love the direction Coldplay is going in and this makes me want to dance and sing even though i don't know any of the words yet. I will do by the time I see them next June (OH MY GOD).

FAVOURITE LINE : 'Everything you want's a dream away'

History - Made In The A.M. - One Direction

This is definitely one of the best songs from the album. It's so catchy and just not what I expected at all. I definitely don't clap along to this...nope. I just love the lyrics too because it feels like it's to the fans which warms my heart I won't lie to you.

FAVOURITE LINE : 'This is not the end, this is not the end, we can make it, you know it, you know...'

Half The World Away - Half The World Away - AURORA

I told you this was in here somewhere didn't I! I love this version so much even if the advert does make me cry. It is so beautiful and I think it makes me listen to the lyrics more if that makes sense? It's actually quite sad if you listen to it. I do love a sad song and so this is right down my alley. Perfect.

FAVOURITE LINE : 'I've been lost, i've been found but I don't feel down'

Risk It All - Meet The Vamps - The Vamps

I used to love this song so much and I would listen to it every day on the way to college. It used to make me so sad even though it's not the typical sad song as it's quite fast paced. I rediscovered after listening to The Vamps new album and remembering how much I used to listen to them. I think this is definitely my favourite from the first album along with 'Another World' but for some reason that isn't on this playlist?

FAVOURITE LINE : 'Come on, just do it, you put me through it'

Love Me Or Leave Me - Get Weird- Little Mix

As I have said many times, emotional songs are where my love truly lies. This is possibly my favourite song on the whole album simply because it is so beautiful. I think it's maybe a 'These Four Walls' part 2? The lyrics just get me so much and I think it's impossible to listen to this song without feeling something. The girls all sound amazing as per usual.

FAVOURITE LINE : 'We used to never go to bed angry but it's all we ever do lately'

Never Enough - Made In The A.M. - One Direction

This is in my top two on this album and I don't even care. I do have a review of this album ready to go so I'm waiting to post that so you can find out how much I love this song. I just think it's completely the opposite of what I would usually expect from the boys and that's why I love it.

FAVOURITE LINE : 'I don't need my heart, you can break it, you can break it and break it.'

Everglow - A Head Full Of Dreams - Coldplay

I've literally only just put this on the playlist because it only came out the other day so it will probably be on my December playlist too because I haven't listened to it too much yet. This is what I really expect from Coldplay. It's got that classic Coldplay sound which I absolutely love but it also has a few influences from the last album too! There will definitely be a review when the album comes out (IN FOUR DAYS BYE).

FAVOURITE LINE : 'So if you love someone, you should let them you and this light that you gave me will everglow'

So, there you have it! The music i've been listening to for the last month! Next month might be christmas music so be prepared!

Thanks for reading!
