My University Room (Blogmas Day Three)

Hello You Lovely Lot!

This blog post is way overdue because I will have been here for three months this month. Better late than never though right? I'm just trying to convince myself of that. In all honestly, it took me this long to get my room tidy enough to show you all...that's not a joke.

For some reason the pictures on this keep disappearing and I don't know why!

This is my bed which doesn't usually look like this, everything's normally all over my room. I have two very handy plugs above it. As you can see I bought my giant Stitch that was a present from my friends Gemma and Lizzie and I also have my teddy bear. They remind me of home and of my friends and family so much so I'm glad I have them with me. I also think I'm adding to the collection but I'm waiting till my parents bring me up so I don't have to take them on the train! You can also see I currently have Christmas bedding, because you can't not have festive bedding in December.

 

I also have a little 'Merry Christmas' sign above my bed because you know, when in December. I'm not too sure what I'm going to do with that hook once it's January, but I'll find something I'm sure.



Yes. I have a printer. Let me tell you, it is the handiest thing in the world! It's so easy when I need to print my notes off or train tickets! I would totally recommend bringing one to University, I would be lost without it. Stacked on top of it are my body sprays and my perfume and yes...I have an advent calendar. Christmas isn't right without it!


This is the next part of my desk. My mirror! I didn't have this for the first few weeks and it was hell. As you can see I've organised my makeup palettes in a very neat fashion around it along with my lipsticks and my brushes. I have also added more festivity to my room by wrapping fairy lights around it and I love them so much I think I'm going to permanently keep them there!


Here's a little closeup of my super good organisation.


Then we move on to this which is my big makeup bag and all my cleansers and the like. Behind that I have my hair products which includes my saviour, salt spray. I am planning on getting a makeup organiser so I don't have to root through that big bag every day!


Now we have the worst photo ever of the work area of my desk! I have all my notebooks and my laptop (although it's usually on my bed). My stationary and all my daily planners. I don't know why I have more than one, I just like organisation.


I'm not sure what happened to my camera here but these photos are rubbish! This the bottom half of my bookcase with all my folders and my pencil cases. I also keep my glasses here because I have broken so many in the kitchen!


Then the top half of my bookcase! This is where all my books live as well as that letter 'B'. You know, incase I forgot my name. I keep books for my courses and books to read in my spare time (not that I have a lot of that) here.



This is probably my favourite part of my room. My pinboard. I have all sorts on here.


I have a collage of loads of pictures of my friends and a few signed albums.


I have my photobooth photos of me and Natalie along with my two One Direction tickets.



I have my lovely little inspirational posters


 

I have photos of me and a few other friends along with a little post card from my friend Ruth!



I also have my poster from Louise which makes me smile every day.



So, that's my room! It's not very exciting but I love it and it's a little safe haven for me. It feels like home nowadays!
