Hello You Lovely Lot!

You may remember me going on and on about how I was going to get my hair dyed silver. Well, after bleaching my hair three times and dying it twice (and toning it no times which is where I think my hairdresser went wrong)...my hair is blonde. Not just any blonde though. Oh no. It's YELLOW.

Right now I have never regretted anything more in my life. If it was bleach blonde I think it would be ok but there's yellow tones in it even after I've tried toning it. The ends are also grey because the dye took to them which is even more fantastic. I have used many similes in the past few days, custard cream, lemon bon bon, orange fanta and a walking traffic light.

I do like the roots and the ends, but its just the mid-lengths. Especially underneath where they're particularly orange. This is a nightmare of epic proportions (name that TV Show) but I'm determined to fix it!

I've got some blonde shampoo and some conditioner to go with it so I'm hoping that it could fix it slightly. I've heard rave review about the Urban Fudge purple shampoo so once I get my next student loan I'm going to be buying that! I don't think Im particularly bothered about the silver anymore, I just don't want it to be yellow! I'm also going to buy that Lee Stafford treatment that grows your hair faster (that's some Harry Potter stuff that)) so it will grow out faster and I can get it cut more often. That will, however, mean I have awful roots.

Throughout this progress I've discovered my hair is pretty strong. It's in OK condition although I have used both normal conditioner and a hair mask on it so that could be why.

On the positive side of life, I now no longer have to rub in dry shampoo so much and you cant tell when my hair is greasy! If anyone has any suggestions for good hair products I could use OR any makeup products that goes well with blonde hair because with my current makeup I don't look the best then I would be eternally grateful!
