Thank You 2015

Hello You Lovely Lot!

So...we're at the end of 2015 (as if you didn't know already?) and it's been a mad year for me. I thought I would do a nice little post on all the cool stuff that happened to me!

31st December 2014 / 1st January 2015

I started the year with Natalie. It was such a lovely way to bring the New Year in! We watched 1D movies, sang in my car, ate pizza and made a Taylor Swift dubsmash. I expect all of this and more when we spend it together again this year!

17th January

I turned eighteen! My Dad threw me a surprise party with all my family and friends and it was the loveliest thing that anyone has ever done for me! I had an amazing birthday and I'm hoping my nineteenth will be just as special, even though I'm not at home.

6th February

I went on my first night out with my best friend Natalie. This was when Natalie found out she was going home only a few weeks in advance and after I saw her at New Year I didn't think I would see her again till Summer so it was amazing! We danced all night, ate burger king and I just had the best night.

29th March

This was when I met Frank Turner! I have loved Frank for a while and he was playing a show at the Liverpool Library. It wasn't really a show but more of a talk about his book and then he played a few songs. He is honestly one of the nicest people I've ever met and just seemed so genuine. Made me love him even more if that's possible

10th April

I went to a book signing in Leeds to meet Alfie Deyes. I still can't believe this actually happened, I've watched Alfies videos for a few years so to see him in front of me was super weird! He was ever so polite and this was kind of the first time I'd met someone I really love.

18th April

The time I was at the barrier for McBusted. I had all the members (minus Harry of course) right in front of me throughout the night and considering I have listened to both Busted and McFly from a very young age it was a dream come true. This was right before the moment that Matt sang to me aka the best moment of my life.

21st April

James Bourne (from McBusted/Busted) tweeted me. This may seem silly to have as a highlight but it means so much to me. I used to fancy the pants off James when he was in Busted and never in my wildest dreams did I think that he would tweet me. He also followed me in 2015 but I'm not too sure of a date on that one.

6th June

When I went to Birmingham to see 5 Seconds Of Summer. This is me and my friend Jemimah and I haven't seen her since then because of University and all that. This was such an amazing day! We went to Wagamamas (the best restaurant ever), drank too many Starbucks and sang along to 5SOS.

7th June

The day I met Louise Pentland (SprinkleOfGlitter). I drove down to Warwick to meet this lovely lady and had VIP tickets for a LouiseLIVE show. This was just the first interaction between me and Louise. If you've read my 'TOP TEN : YouTubers' you'll know Louise is special to me. She is my knight in shining armour so to speak. Her videos have been little rays of sunshine in hard times. I definitely wasn't crying right before this photo...

18th June

Louise tweeted me. I have loved Louise for a long time and I suddenly went from just watching her to meeting her, getting to review her book early to then her tweeting me?! It was a crazy year. Louise is so lovely and deserves every single thing she gets and more!

8th July

I saw Natalie again! This was the first time I had seen her since February and I even cried a bit when she got off the bus. It's hard sometimes when your best friend lives so far away but I know that Natalie is always there for me and vice versa. We had Chinese, dyed my hair and made the longest snapchat story ever (although that has been challenged by my NYE snapchat story. This was the start of the best Summer ever.

9th July

Life With A Sprinkle Of Glitter signing! We both met Louise, me for the second time and Natalie for the first. They wouldn't let us take photographs so I don't have any of us and Louise. We drove to Birmingham and not only did we see Louise, but Darcy too! I can indeed confirm that Darcy is the cutest child I have ever seen.

17th July

This is my favourite photo of me and Natalie ever, we clearly weren't ready! This seems so long ago to me now it's crazy when in reality it was only 5 months away. I feel like the fact I only see Natalie every 6 months makes 6 months seem like such a small amount of time! We had a sleepover this night and the next morning One Direction dropped 'Drag Me Down' so now that will always make me think of Natalie!

12th August

I met Frank again! This was at Rough Trade which is a little record shop in Nottingham. It was an album signing and my Dad was really drunk and very embarrassing but I managed to get a photo with Frank again!

1st September

I met up with Amy! Me and Amy were friends in year 12 because we were in the same English class but we kind of drifted apart in year 13. However, we met up this day and ever since then we've spoken pretty much every day and I would now class her as one of my closest friends.

26th September

This is the day I moved to University. I got incredibly drunk this night and payed for it the next morning, never in my life will I drink half a litre of vodka again. This was the first time I'd met all my flatmates and I can't find the photo of us all together but this is Natalie, Kayleigh, Nicole and me. It's so weird to think that before this day I had no idea who they were!

3rd October

My first OTRA date! This was when I met this lovely lad who's name I'm still not completely sure of? We danced all night and I cried just a little bit...only a tiny bit. I had been so scared about this for ages because I had to get the train by myself to Manchester and even though it's not that far I hate going anywhere by myself so it's such a relief that this boy was so lovely!

26th - 28th October

This is when I went to Wales for the weekend with the English department at my Uni. I had an amazing time, did some things I never thought I could and met some super lovely people! I then went to Wales to see my family and I saw my dogs for the first time since I moved, it was very emotional.

31st October

This was not only my second OTRA date but the last one. I am so happy I went with my friend Gaby because we've both liked One Direction from the beginning and have been friends for a few years! I also saw my Swiss friend again which was such a huge surprise. Me and Gaby cried pretty much all the way through the night and it was so sad but also one of the best nights of my life.

20th-22nd November

Chloe came to visit me in Liverpool! It was so nice having someone I knew so well in Liverpool with me. I don't think it would be as much of a relief now since I know all my flatmates quite well. Me and Chloe baked pizza and cookies, went shopping and played sims so...the ideal weekend??

4th December

I surprised Gemma. Me and Lizzie had this planned for two or three weeks and I think Gemma was really grateful! After seeing Gemma and Lizzie every few weeks for a good year, not seeing either of them for a few months was weird. We played Mario Kart and laughed a lot, we probably played scrabble too...I can't remember.

5th December

#BAMY reunited. This is the first time I had seen Amy since she left at the beginning of September. We went to a Christmas fair and even though it was very cold we both got a bit drunk from drinking mulled wine (one of us more than the other....me). We then went to Annies Burger Shack in Nottingham and had the best burgers ever!

31st December 2015 /1st January 2016

I finished the year the same way I started it. Natalie got very drunk by herself at 2 in the morning because I had four shots and was sick. She ate some breadsticks. We watched Panda documentaries and I laughed the hardest I'd laughed since I last saw her. Natalie is the only person who can make me laugh till I'm sick but she didn't even have to make me laugh for that to happen this time.

In summary, 2015 was great. I think it was probably the best year of my life. I also started my blog on the 1st January 2015 so I've been doing it for a whole year now! It hasn't really gone anywhere big but that means nothing to me, I just love writing all of this and looking back on posts that I wrote at the beginning of last year! Hopefully 2016 will be just as amazing and will include the same amazing people! Hope you all had a lovely New Year!

Thanks For Reading!
