Hello You Lovely Lot!

You all know there's nothing I love more than a bit of bubblegum pop. Give me anything from old school pop to 1D and McFly and I will be all over it. So, as you can imagine, Little Mix are right up my street! I've loved Little Mix from their first album and I think they've improved so much since then and I feel like I've grown up with them in a sense. So, I thought, since it's been ages since I've done one of these, I would give you all a little rundown of my top ten Little Mix songs.


10. Change Your Life - DNA (2012)



This is the only one from the first album on this list and I had to cut other songs out to make sure it got a spot on the top ten! This song used to speak to me quite a lot so now it kind of reminds me of that time and how I'm on the other side of it now I guess? i just think it's such a powerful song and it will always hold memories for me!

Favourite Lyric : 'You're not alone'

9. Salute - Salute (2013)



I didn't think this would be on the top ten because I've never really considered it a favourite but when I listened to it I realised it really deserved a spot here! I love everything this song stands for and the last bit always reminds me of Natalie in Summer because she knows all the words.

Favourite Lyric : 'Get your killer heels, sneakers, pumps or lace up your boots'

8. Move - Salute (2013)



I LOVE the video for this (mainly because of the dance moves that I could never do in my wildest dreams to be honest. This is just a classic Little Mix song to be honest and it's so catchy too! Another one that i didn't realise I loved as much as I did. However, when it came out it was on repeat for ages I have to say!

Favourite Lyric : 'I know that you wanna, but you can't cause you gotta stay cool in the corner, when the truth is that you want to move...so move'

7. These Four Walls - Salute (2013)



This definitely used to be my favourite from this album but now it's slipped down a bit. I've recently been listening to this quite a bit because for some reason I've been listening to loads of ballads. This is definitenly one of my favourite ballad type songs that I can belt out in the shower!

Favourite Lyric : 'I tried to eat today, but the lump in my throat got in the way' 

6. OMG - Get Weird (2015)



I think I've said it before but this song reminds me of 'Fancy' by Charlie XCX and Iggy Azelea! It's just so catchy and fun! I don't think I was too sure when I first heard it but the more I listened to it the more I fell in love with it and for a while it was all I listened to. I think this song really kind of shows how far Little Mix have come from the first album and maybe that's why I love it!

5. Hair - Get Weird (2015)



I remember first hearing this when I was on holiday in Wales and I really wasn't sure about it and neither was Natalie. I think this was the second song we heard off this album? I wasn't sure about Black Magic either when it came out so this album wasn;t for me when I first hear it. However, I listened to it again and again to try and love it because I wanted to like it so bad! Eventually I fell in love with it and thank god I did because here it is on the top 10!

Favourite Lyric : 'This chick is over you' 

4. Boy - Salute (2013)



I thought this would be right at the top of my list because I've always considered it my favourite Little Mix song! I just absolutely love this song and I used to think it was so clever at the start (little did I know they'd release a whole song like that!). Number Four is still quite a good place to be though, if you ask me and I think it will always hold a place in the top ten for me!

Favourite Lyric : 'You wanna call back? Leave that. Aint nobody got time for that'

3. Grown - Get Weird (2015)



I think it was Natalie that really got me in to this one. I used to like it but Natalie loved it and I would get snapchats from her with it in. I listened to it every now and then but all of a sudden it just clicked and for a while I think it was my favourite song on the album! I think this epitomises Little Mix's sound at the moment!

2. The End - Get Weird (2015)



The whole time I was writing this blog post I was not sure whether this was going to go first or second but I have finally decided that it's second. This song is so beautiful especially because it's literally just the girls' voices! When I watched that video of Perrie crying in the middle I cried too and ever since then it's made me a little bit emotional.

Favourite Lyric : 'Love isn't fair and I swear that this time, this is this end'

1. Love Me Or Leave Me - Get Weird (2015)



I think this has always been my favourite song on the album even though there;s been a few times where I've thought i twas another song. Right from the offset I was hooked on this. I love singing this and proper going for it even though I sound a bit like a cat being strangled and I think this is one of those songs that you can belt out. I will be definitely be singing it in the shower when I'm home and my parents don't care if I sing in the shower. I love the lyrics to this and even if you don't like Little Mix I think you should listen to this song! It's not the typical bubblegum pop that I talked about at the beginning of this post.

Favourite Lyric : 'We used to never go to bed angry, but it's all we ever do lately, you're turning away like you hate me, do you hate me? Do you hate me?

So, there we have it! I think it's clear to see that a lot of these songs are from the last album! However, I do still love the first two albums and was obsessed with them when they first came out! i think the kind of music I listen to has matured as I've matured which happens with every band but every now and then I will listen to the first album and have a bit of a dance around!
