October Playlist

by - 06:10

Hello you lovely lot!

So, thanks to my best friend Natalie I now have had a playlist for every month for a few months and I intend on carrying this on. I do also have a 'FAVES' playlist but I think I've got a little bored of those songs now so I make sure I only add ones I really love or classics. I was writing my October Favourites and it took me ages to pick 5 songs for the 'Music' section, I love so many! It kept changing from day to day so I thought I'd just tell you all my whole playlist.

Infinity - Made in the A.M. - One Direction

I was obsessed with this when it first came out so it went on this playlist straight away. I think I might have overplayed it a bit but when I do listen to it every now and again I love it still! Makes me really look forward to the new album (which comes out on a day I go back home so I will sit on the train and cry and listen to it thank you).

Favourite Line : Oh baby, I was there for you, all I ever wanted was the truth

Josephine - Positive Songs For Negative People - Frank Turner

This is on my playlist because it used to be my favourite off the album, I have since found another favourite which is Silent Key. That, however, is not on the playlist...don't ask me why. I'm so excited to see Frank live next month with Dad and I hope he'll play this. The video was amazing (if a little odd) and Frank never fails to impress me.

Favourite Line : I'm an impending car crash and you're the first one on the scene

Hair / Black Magic / Love Me Like You - Get Weird - Little Mix

So i've got three songs from the same album on this playlist and I thought rather than include the album artwork three times I would just say a bit about each of them now!

Hair - I first heard this when I was on holiday in August and I hated it. I was like 'What on earth is this rubbish?!' and I refused to listen to it again. Eventually I decided to give it a second chance and I'm so glad I did, I went through a stage of being obsessed with it (which is true of most of these songs if I'm being honest) and it's all I would listen to!

Favourite Line : Now I feel brand new, this chick is over you

Black Magic - I used to hate this too. Natalie loved it and used to play it and send snapchats of her singing it all the time. Eventually I came round to loving it and even though I don't listen to it much anymore I do still like to put it on and have a bit of a dance every now and then.

Favourite Line : Crystal ballin' just to help him see what he's been missin'

Love Me Like You - I loved this one straight away and it has an amazing music video to match! I love the kind of old feel it has to it? And it's not what most people would expect of Little Mix in my opinion which is something I really love. I am so excited for this album!

Favourite Line : L - O - V - E , love the way you give it to me

On My Mind - Delirium - Ellie Goulding

The first time I heard this was on the way to work and I knew straight away that I loved it. I have yet to download it on iTunes but I will soon enough and it will more than likely be on repeat forever. It's just so catchy and one I love listening to whilst I'm cleaning. Well done Ellie!

Favourite Line : Wait...I could have really liked you

Wasn't Expecting That - Wasn't Expecting That - Jamie Lawson

Now, this is the fella that supported One Direction. I wont lie, I was hoping for McBusted and I was a bit disappointed when I found out who it was because I had never heard of him! I had a listen before the concert and I though 'Okay, at least he can sing'. Then he sang 'More Than This' when he was supporting them and I honestly nearly cried. More Than This is an old One Direction song and he just did the loveliest version. He also played this song and since then it's been on my playlist.

Favourite Line : Without that innocent kiss, what a life i'd have missed

Perfect / Home - Perfect EP - One Direction

Perfect - Yes this is on Made in the A.M. but I felt like it needed it's own review, can you blame me? I also had to add 'Home' here because that's only on this EP and not on the album. I LOVE this. I haven't listened to it in a while because I have found a new obsession but it SO catchy and I even woke up an hour earlier than I had to so I could hear it, is that sad? Maybe. I love the video too, Harry can have secret little rendezvous' with me in that suit any time.

Favourite Line : If you like cameras flashing every time we go out and if you're looking for someone to write your breakup songs about....BABY I'M PERFEEEECT...BABY WE'RE PERFEEEEECT (got carried away there)

Home - I still don't know how I feel about this one. I think it's just not what I was expecting maybe? I was really disappointed when I first heard it which is a first for One Direction songs. I'm still not 100% sure but I think I like it? It's on my playlist anyway because I wanted to give a chance, I think in a few weeks I'll be obsessed.

Favourite Line : You'll never feel like you're alone, I'll make this feel like home

Hey Everybody / Permanent Vacation - Sounds Good Feels Good - 5 Seconds of Summer

Hey Everybody - I hadn't heard this for a while and when I first did it reminded me of a song I knew already (I still don't know which song it is?) so I tried not to like it for a while but I can't deny. I love it. It was this song that made me want to see 5SOS next which (which I am doing!) so that's super exciting. I have yet to hear the rest of the album (minus a few) but I am assured it's amazing!

Favourite Line : And what's ironic to me, the ones that don't ever leave think that they know

Permanent Vacation - This is one of the other ones I've heard because they played it when I saw then in Birmingham and I loved it! I still love it now even though I only know three words so far. Definitely going to be my new obsession (soz The Vamps)

Favourite Line : Hey, I'm doing fine and I know I'm out of line so let's sing this one more time, it goes 'Destination : Permenant Vacation'

Wake Up / Cheater - Wake Up - The Vamps

Wake Up - This had been out for a good few weeks before I finally heard it when it came on TV in the flat. I had no real emotion towards it at first, it was just a bit like 'yeah this is good!' but now I'm slightly obsessed. It's just so catchy and I love singing it in the shower and when I'm walking round the flat.

Favourite Line - I was right there in front of you (short but sweet Bradders)

Cheater - This was my latest obsession. I stumbled across the video by accident and I fell in love with Connor in it (even though I'm totally a Brad girl) and so I watched it again and again and again until I knew all the words, then I downloaded it on iTunes so I could listen to it on the go and I feel a bit sorry for Kayleigh who's room is next to mine and probably knows all the words herself by now.

Favourite Line - I just thought you should know what he is capable of

So, that's my October playlist and all the songs I've loved this month! Some I've loved more than others but all of them have basically been my soundtrack this month (*insert that sassy girl emoji* (you know the one I mean)).

Thanks For Reading!
