March Favourites 2016

by - 05:04

Hello you lovely lot! *Insert little “as if it’s the end of March” speech*. But, seriously, why is this year going so fast?! This month has been crazy to say the least! I finished the second term of Uni so I had exams and coursework galore. Then, all of a sudden at the end of the month, I was on a plane to go to Berlin! Berlin was absolutely amazing and I am in the process of writing a whole blog post about it which I can’t wait for you all to read. So, I won’t talk about it too much on this blog post, I can just tell you that it was the most amazing week ever. Well, now it’s time for you to read all about what I’ve been loving this month!

Beauty / Skincare :

I have made a few new purchases this month but they all seemed to be at the end of the month so they might pop up in April’s favourites since I don’t think I should put something in here that I’ve only used for a week or so. So, I’m going to go with something that I think I bought about half way through the moth. Whether that is true or not I LOVE this thing!

Soap and Glory: Kiss Ass - All Is Calm Concealer

I saw this on Lucy and Lydia’s channel in a Soap and Glory haul I think it was? You can watch that here if you want to because I know that when I watched it, I pretty much wanted everything! This stick is a little miracle worker, especially for people like me who’s skin looks like a massive red spot. All I know on the sciencey side of stuff Is that green is opposite to red on the colour wheel so putting this on any redness on your skin cancels it out. It doesn’t cover redness completely but it does make it easier to cover which means I now use less concealer. It does make me look a tad sickly when I blend it in and when I put foundation over it I think I look quite pale although I am pale anyway. I think I probably need to go up a foundation shade with this but try it out first because it could be different for everyone! I was terrified when I first put it on because it really is very green but I have learned to love it. I now really want the under eye version because the dark circles under my eyes are ridiculous!

Music :

Once again there hasn’t really been a whole album that I’ve loved this month (although Zayn’s new album is out the day I’m writing this so we’ll see). However, there’s been a few songs that I’ve been completely loving this month. Both old and new! I won’t write too much about them because I’ve learnt that I tend to write the same things here as I do in my Monthly Playlist posts so for now I’ll just list a few of them and then if you want to know more about why I love them so much you can pop on over to my March Playlist post and see what I have to say about them there!

NO – Thank You – Meghan Trainor
I Write Sins Not Tragedies – A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out – Panic! At The Disco
Here – Four Pink Walls – Alessia Cara

TV Show :

I think there's only one choice for this month!

Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway

I think Ant and Dec are a national treasure. They are amazing at everything they put their hand to and I think this is one of their greatest achievements! I love this programme so much and I will watch it every Saturday night without fail (unless I physically can't). I can definitely say that watching this on my own in my Uni room is nowhere near as good as watching it in my own living room with my family but either way it's still amazing!

Purchase :

This is something different although it did take me a while to think about it...

Obama Llama

Now, bear with me boys and girls. This game is amazing. I'm not going to explain the rules to you all so you'll have to google them (although when you read them it'll sound rubbish but I promise it's great).  I played it with my family before I jetted off to Berlin and we laughed all the way through so I'm going to make sure I take it back to Uni with me!

Photo :

It took me a whole to choose this because I have so many new photos from this month but I eventually decided that this one was my favourite

This is the night before I left Berlin and we had one polaroid left so we got Natalie's mum to take one of us and she just said 'be natural' so I said something from one of the YouTube videos that we'd watched and this is the photo we got! I love it because it's just so natural and sums up our friendship since when we're together we're pretty much always laughing!

What's Exciting About Next Month?

Well, next month I see The Vamps and 5SOS! I'm also home for nearly half of next month so that's always a positive because I can see all my friends and spend some much needed time with my family. Next month also brings me one month closer to finishing my first year of University which is always a positive in my eyes!

So that's my favourites done for another month. I always forget to write these until the very end of the month because the months just seem to be flying by now it's crazy. However, I hope you enjoyed this!

Thanks For Reading!
