So, now I'm a year older, I can say that I still listen to one of those songs on the regular. Some of them (soz JB, aiming this one at you) I never choose to listen to any more but a few of them I will listen to if they come on shuffle. This month is full of songs that aren't in the charts which is more my style usually.

Blow Your Mind (Mwah) - Blow Your Mind (Mwah) - Dua Lipa

I think this song has been out for a while and it took me a few weeks to get round to loving it? I think it came up as suggested on Spotify and I played it and for a while I just kept playing it and playing it. I just think it's so catchy, what's not to love?

How Would You Like It? - Isn't It Strange? - Lauren Aquilina

I found this because Dodie Clark did a cover of it on her YouTube channel and I fell in love instantly. I think this song is so beautiful and even though I can't relate it to a romantic relationship I can definitely find ways that it fits in to my life and I think that's one of the most important things with music for me. This song is so empowering and makes me think sometimes. Sometimes it even makes me cry (very deep).

Still Falling For You - Still Falling For You (Single) - Ellie Goulding

I feel like I've always been a secret Ellie Goulding fan. At one point I think it was quite cool to like her but that phase kind of faded away but deep down I love her. Especially recently with this song and with 'Army' too I think she's written some lovely songs. A favourite this month.

Aint My Fault - Aint My Fault (Single) - Zara Larsson

I heard this when I was in the car with Dad and Amy and I was obsessed ever since then. I have only started liking Zara Larsson ever since I was waiting to watch The Vamps and her song came on. I hadn't like the song much before that but after that I was just listening to it every day. It's been the same with this song!

Mercy - Mercy (Single) - Shawn Mendes

For some reason I have started to really like Shawn? I mean I liked Stitches when it came out and also 'Treat You Better'. I found this by accident because I was just listening to other songs from the album to see if I could find any more that I loved and this is one of them. I absolutely love the beginning of it, it's probably my favourite bit of the whole song?

Fall Back - Up At Night - Cimorelli

So when I was younger and new to YouTuber, I stumbled upon six sisters called Cimorelli and I fell in love with them. I used to love their song 'Million Bucks' (ANYONE REMEMBER THAT CLASSIC?!) and for some reason I just kind of lost track with them and then all of a sudden I found them again. I listened to their new songs and they are so good! They are just the music I used to love which is like pop country? A bit like old Taylor Swift maybe? This one is just so catchy and I love the video too (also can we talk about how I'm not ok with Dani not being 9 anymore?)

That Girl Should Be Me - Renegade - Cimorelli

I found the video for this first whilst I was stalking their channel and I just loved it. All of their music is just so feel good even though this one isn't even happy lyrics? It's been on replay for at least half of the month and to be honest, I'm not even sorry.

Release You - Release You (Single) - Megan and Liz

Since I had found Cimorelli I thought I would look back at other YouTubers I used to love and Megan & Liz were one pair that I found. This song is basically the soundtrack to my life a few years ago even though I could never relate to the lyrics I just always felt so sassy when I was singing it and any song that makes you feel like that is a song worth listening to!

Hearts On Fire - Up At Night - Cimorelli

I think this is my favourite from this album. I wasn't sure about it to begin with but one night when I jus wasn't in a great mood is somehow clicked and ever since then and it gets me so emotional. I just think that this song is one that really shows off the voices of all six girls. So much love for this song.

All My Friends Say - All My Friends Say (Single) - Cimorelli

So I found the video for this song first too and I fell in love with it. It perfectly fits in to my life at the moment for reasons I won't divulge but it's so weird that I found it when I did! It's such a bubblegum pop song but who doesn't love a bit of bubblegum pop every now and then?

Never Be Alone - Shawn Mendes - Handwritten

So basically I've agreed to go and see Shawn Mendes in April and so I thought that listening to more of his music would be a good idea and I have fallen in love with this one. It is just so beautiful and I can't believe he's so young. I can hardly string a normal sentence together let alone do two that rhyme and make it sound do angelic?

I'm A Mess - Up At Night - Cimorelli

I only found this about half way through the month but I think I can safely say it's my favourite song by Cimorelli now. Their music just really reminds me of old school Taylor Swift and this one is especially that kind of style.

Sorry but it's another Cimorelli song, just can't help myself. I saw the video to this first and I wasn't 100% sure about it but there's this one bit that I just love and that's the reason that it's on this playlist and the reason I listen to it again and again

So everyone there you have it! That's what I've been listening to recently! Granted most of it's Cimorelli but I think I got hooked!
